# Download the app

> Learn how to download and install Superthread for macOS and iOS

Superthread is available to download as a desktop app for macOS and a mobile app for iOS and Android.

## Mobile apps

Superthread also offers a mobile app for iOS and Android devices:

## Desktop apps

The Superthread desktop app is currently available for macOS and Windows. Download links below for:

### Mac installation steps

1. Download the appropriate .dmg file for your Mac
2. Double click on `Superthread.dmg` in your **Downloads** folder
3. Drag the Superthread app into your **Applications** folder
4. The first time you open Superthread, your Mac's security settings may ask you to confirm that you want to open it

### Features available in desktop app

The desktop app provides access to all Superthread features, including:

* Full workspace management
* Boards and cards
* Pages and documentation
* Note transcription (Requires macOS 14.2 or later)
* All keyboard shortcuts
* Real-time collaboration

### System requirements

System requirments for the macOS desktop app:

* macOS 14.2 or later
* Apple Silicon or Intel processor
* Internet connection required
