# Import tasks from other tools

> Learn how to migrate your existing work from Trello, Jira, or Shortcut into Superthread seamlessly

Superthread makes it easy to migrate your existing work from popular project management tools. We support importing from Trello, Jira, and Shortcut (formerly Clubhouse).

## Available import options

## General import information

The following applies to all imports:

### Data preservation

We preserve important metadata during the import process:

* Original creator and creation timestamp
* Attachments (imported as inline images or card attachments)
* Links back to original items
* User mappings (you can map users to your Superthread team members)

### Import history

You can view your import history and manage past imports at [*Settings > Workspace > Importers*](https://app.superthread.com/settings/import).

### Field mappings

Each import type has specific field mappings to ensure your data is transferred correctly. See the individual import guides for detailed mapping information:

### After import

After importing your data:

* Review and organize your boards
* Check that all fields mapped correctly
* Verify user assignments
* Clean up any unnecessary tags or fields
* Update any automation rules if needed
