What We Shipped So Far This Year
We’re starting the year strong. The goal is to do these updates once a week because we’re shipping so much stuff that it’s worth talking about. Here is what we have pushed live so far.
Offline Mode: It Works Like Magic
The big one is Offline Mode. If you take your laptop on a train where the internet is nonexistent, you can still load up Superthread. You can view any boards and pages you’ve visited previously. It opens instantly, even when you're offline.
Soon, we’re going to be working on the ability to edit while offline. When you reconnect, the system will sync your content in an intelligent manner.
High-Signal Collaboration: Emoji Reactions
Superthread is a collaborative tool; we do all our work inside of it, which means there are a lot of comments. We’ve deployed emoji reactions for comments, and it works very well.
The next step is adding Slack notifications for these. We already have a really good Slack integration, and if someone gives your comment a thumbs up, you should be able to see that in Slack immediately.
Onboarding and the 'Cloneable' Space
When you sign up for Early Access, you now get an onboarding space. This is a curated space that gets cloned into your workspace, containing boards, pages, and cards to show you what Superthread can do.
I wouldn't call this 'onboarding' by any stretch of the imagination; the real onboarding is coming soon, but it gives you an idea of the capabilities.
Zapier and Better Space Management
Zapier Integration: We finally deployed our Zapier app. The functionality is limited for now, but we are going to keep improving it every week.
Space Homepages: We’ve updated how you see content inside a space. When you click a space, you can now see both boards and pages on the right-hand side. You can move them between spaces easily, giving you a bird’s-eye view of your space without needing the tree structure on the left.
